Time Lord Chronicles?Friends Along the Way

RE... Ah git it. It seems like ya never know how good the warranty is until you have to use it. I know with the Heartland products, if you don't have to use the warranty, the cost is refunded. I liked that part...

Time Lord Chronicles?Friends Along the Way

RE...We did alot of research prior to buying and we found Heartland products to be the best built. That said, they have lost one of their selling points...the "one piece shower" has been replaced with a "leaking"...susceptible to leaking, two piece shower. Our shower has leaked from day one and...

Time Lord Chronicles?Friends Along the Way

We pushed into Michigan, heading to the Heartland Factory. We were told our arrival would be announced and we were asked to show up before noon because their assembly lines closed down around mid-day. We arrived in town that evening and spent the night parked in a graveled parking lot. We got...

Buying new brake controller, which one??

I recently purchased a low mileage 2006 Ford 350, so I'm not real familiar with the truck. It has a factory installed brake controller that doesn't seem to be working. I recently purchased a 9 ton fiver (gvw) and when I towed it home, I realized the trailer brakes weren't working. I need to...

    The Evolution of our RVing....

My first experience RV'ing was in the mid-70's. I bought a 10'+self contained camper that I lived in when I went to Hobie Sailing Regattas. After my divorce in 78, it became "home" for two plus years as I job hopped in construction, living on job sites and attending sailing regattas on the...

    Any Bikers?

Lone Star...If your heart is set on a Harley...then git a Harley that you can afford. They are out there. It's just a matter of having the patience and taking the time to look. Shop...buy a couple copies of "Motorcycle Wheels" or whatever monthly magazine that publishes motorcycles for sale. Go...

    Any Bikers?

Maverick...Write On Great advice when figuring out what kind motorcycle to purchase. Catblaster...ABS...are you referring to the brakes or the suspension? I s'pose I will need to find a "chopped" magazine to see the custom wings. I certainly don't see many of them on the road. I've also...

    Any Bikers?

The Honda "Goldwing" shaft drive is tried and true. It's a great design, very reliable and a very comfortable road bike. The center of gavity is abit higher then I prefer...but it's a personal taste thing. It would be interesting to see a custom bike manufactured with this engine.
