    Can I charge 6 V batteries with a 12 volt charger?

Hi, I've actually got a couple of questions on charging my Trojan T-105 6 V batteries. First, per the subject, can I charge them individually with a 12 V charger or do I have to put them in series (like they are in the coach) and charge them that way? My charger is a Sears "10/2 amp Fully...

My Rhino Flex coupler leaks like a sieve

Well, I got a chance to test my hose this past weekend. It looks like screwing the hose further into the coupler helped with that part of the problem but, alas, the coupler still leaks where it connects to the 90 degree elbow. I took a quick video showing the connection and the leaking.  It's a...

My Rhino Flex coupler leaks like a sieve

Thanks guys, I just checked my hose (that sounds funny) and I do have gaskets in place. I did loosen the collar though and found that I could screw the hose into the coupler further as was suggested. I did that and tightened the collar again. We'll see if this helps but I swear it was leaking...

Which brand/type RV cover do you recommend?

Hi All, I'm considering getting a cover for my Class C. Yes, I've read all the posts debating the pros and cons - abrasion from wind, "never used a cover - looks great", "used a cover - looks great", etc. Despite all that, assuming I *want* to use a cover, which one should I get? I've seen...

My Rhino Flex coupler leaks like a sieve

Hello, I recently "upgraded" to a Rhino Flex hose to replace an old, leaky standard slinky. While I like the construction of the Rhino, I'm finding it leaks like crazy. I've tightened the hose as much as I can but I still find that it leaks between the hose and the coupler on the end that...

Slideout Seal pulled away from the side

Hello all, This weekend, after extending one of my slideouts, I found that one of the side seals had pulled away from the frame and was hanging down about half way down the opening. I was only able to fit it back on the frame up to about 6 inches from the top. At that point, it was simply too...

Please share your MacGyver moment (Clever fixes with everyday objects)

Not really sure this counts but whatever... This last weekend my site neighbor pointed out that the seal from one side of the slideout was practically hanging on the ground. I hadn't even noticed it but clearly, it had grabbed at the top of the slide as it slid out and pulled away. I tried to...

HWH Jack - One LED doesn't come on, system won't auto-level

Just to follow up on this for the next guy. I got the switch and installed it. Just had to unscrew the old one and screw in the new one and then connect the wires. When I turned on the system, I got all four LEDs lit. When I hit auto-level, it all worked as designed. Cool. So, nothing but...

HWH Jack - One LED doesn't come on, system won't auto-level

Called HWH as suggested. Got a call back from a Tech a few days later who had me disconnect a two wire connector at the jack and jumper them together on the harness (not jack) side. When I did this, the corresponding LED on the panel lit. Based on this, he said I probably had a bad warning...

    Fridge Drain tube broken

Thanks for the replies. I did splice the tube at the break but my concern is that it also looks like it's cracked where it connects to the fridge up at the top where I can't reach. I'll look closer at the manuals to see if I can tell how to remove the fridge. Tom

    Fridge Drain tube broken

Thanks Jeff, Do you know if and how he disconnected the flue when he pulled it out? Seems like it still has to be disconnected to get the fridge out so I would think I could reach the connection if I did that. I'll see if I can find info on disconnecting the flue. Thanks, Tom

    Fridge Drain tube broken

Hello, Opened up the fridge outside panel today just to take a look and make sure it was free of bugs and found that the drain tube was broken in half (see first picture). I was thinking about how I could fix it and I was handling it, another piece broke off in my hand. It appears to have...

HWH Jack - One LED doesn't come on, system won't auto-level

Hello, I've searched for a similar HWH Jack problem but didn't find anything similar so here goes. I have HWH jacks on my Tioga Class C. The deploy sequence is one press to turn on, second press causes the jacks to swing down, third press extends the jacks and auto-levels. A few trips ago, I...
