Found this post on another forum so I went to Home Depot and got this Henry brand adhesive to try. After that drys, I'll tape it too.
"According to this posting http://www.irv2.com/forums/f101/roof...tml#post937079 Henry 212 is a US-equivalent of their Canadian Stone Mason brand which...
Interesting! Thanks. I may rethink my plan. Looks like it needs to be a glue/sealer rather then just a caulk. I bought some dap brand caulk but it will not hardly come out of the tube using a caulking gun. This stuff must be old. It takes two hands to get enough pressure to get some out. Thanks...
Ugly??? You should have seen what the old caulk looked like. LOL. It was black. There's Eternabond on the front and rear caps that come over the sides. I think I could get it on there really straight and only use a inch wide tape. I'm not to worried about looks, I just want to seal it for good...
I'm replacing the caulking on my roof where it meets the gutter on my 2003 Itasca Sunova 30B. The roof is fiberglass and the gutter is aluminum. Removing the old calk is a pain. I'm using picks, razor blades and scotchbright pads. I'm going to need to re-caulk. What should I use? Also why...

You're asking a lot. I'd look at a KLR650. With 2 people and gear you're going to need a bigger bike.
You may also find the weight of the bike and the rack on the rear of the RV a problem. A trailer can be used for way more than hauling the bike. May be worth...
Wow! You must drive on some crappy roads! I have about the same set. The Velcro on mine is gone and mine doesn't bounce around any. Do you think maybe you could have a suspension problem? I'm sure that if you go to a good RV store (like Home Depot) there's some kind of latch you could install...
I'd say that if you got in an accident with a modified "trailer" like that, a good lawyer would wear you out. Also you may have a hard time getting insurance for it. If you told them it was a trailer and they insured it, they could deny coverage if something happened. I'd just trade it for a...
