SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS FOR 1 LARGE DOG

Sorry to be blunt, but it is dangerous to leave your dog tied up outside at night. Not only are they unprotected from predators, they can't even run away. Plus, dogs are pack animals, they should be with their people.

    A Year of Serenity

I love the name of your RV :) Is your wife a browncoat?

Here we go again, and the Beatles!!!

I could not have said it better myself. There is a ton of good modern music, you just have to sort through a lot of crap to find it. Plus, just because something isn't suited to your personal tastes, that doesn't automatically negate musical talent. I don't particularly care for most country...

    Family with little kids

RV Shows are a good idea. I would also consider renting a few different types and floorplans, to get a really good idea of what kind of layout you like, and also to make sure that you and your spouse are comfortable driving the RV's. Also, take your time while you look, don't let anyone rush you...

    Restrictions on Outside Paint Job?

I don't think for one second that people should feel forced to conform on things like this. Self expression is beautiful. That said, your new paint job is gorgeous, and I like it much better than the bright colors. Good job! :)

    Poor Ambassadors

I think the strangest part of this story has to be that you are spending your time and energy, two days in a row, from several different angles/locations, to take pictures of some stranger's vehicle, and then post it online. Maybe they intended to stop for an hour, and then their child got...

    The debate MH vs TT

True, but if you get a TT and a truck to pull it, that truck will have another motor to maintain, so it's pretty much the same either way. Same thinking goes for the "TT is a smaller investment"... it would be, except you will be buying a TT AND a truck, so it will probably end up the same price...

RETIRING. IS FULL TIME RV'ING FOR US?

$90,000 is way too high for an '05 Providence. Even the largest floorplan of that model has a retail value of $79k. If that is a model that you like, I would look for a cheaper price, at least. When you find a coach that you like, look online and see what other ones are selling for, of the...

    Impossible ?? Rv'ing with 14 kids ?

Yikes. I read a few posts, and between her using Glenn Beck as homeschooling curriculum to forcing her children to hold signs outside Planned Parenthood for 40 days... all I can say is WOW.

    VETS WHILE TRAVELING.

We have both of our dogs on Banfield Wellness plans. It's only like 25-35 per dog, per month, and it has been well worth it. Our Golden Retriever has special needs, joint problems, a bad leg, and allergies. He requires constant medication, and we pick it up wherever we are. We moved around a lot...

Hi. Just retired from the Army

I would buy the truck first, and then plan to take two short trips. One time, rent a TT, and the other rent a 5W. Try both out and see which one feels better for you. Everyone has a different preference, so it just depends on your personal needs, and which one feels better suited to your...

    Fridge: How Level is "enough"?

Okay, so for those of us who are RV newbies, most of this technical stuff is pretty confusing, but I am trying to learn. If I understood the post correctly, a lot of RV fridges need to be kept level, and if you leave them on and drive up or down hills or park somewhere where you are not level...
