    is anti-rv sentiment common?

"We're not campers...We're TRAVELERS" I usually say "we're not camper's...we're RV'ers." And there really is a big difference. Sometimes I say "Jealous?"

Any good places to stop at Joshua Tree National Park in California

Be sure to tour Key's Ranch. It's part of the park and I think you have to go with a Ranger. At least our group did.

Toilet paper question....sorry to get personal

"Water, more water and then some more and the black tank plugging problem is eliminated." No one has mentioned this method but we dry camp & water is precious to us. We put TP in a waste basket beside the toilet. The holding tank doesn't fill as fast (have gone 4 weeks without having to dump)...

    After Fulltiming, Then What?

We both sold our homes and rv'd as singles. Met in Quartzsite, AZ and after a year traded both rigs in for an "OUR" rig. We will continue traveling until we settle down in an SKP Park in Yuma for the winters and have an acre of land in Showlow to park on for the summers. If we cannot physically...

Do you have a name for your RV?

We have a 35' class A and tow a 26' utility trailer with the Susuki in it. We call the MH the "House", the trailer the "garage" and the car the "Jeep Jeep".

    2011 Alaska Trip Planning

Fishing with the bears had to be a highlight. We took a float plane from Soldotna that flew us across Cook Sound landed, then right into a boat. The bears were awesome. The two of us caught 4 fish. Allowed 6. Good eating but the bears were the best show.  I agree about the flight around Mt. Mc...

Looking for a place on the water (FL Panhandle?) for a quick getaway

My favorite campground is just east of Carabelle, Fl. Called Ho Hum. Small park but right on the water. Haven't been there for 2-3 years as I am now out west in AZ.
