The adhesive I have found to be excellent has been 3M 5200 marine grade. The drying time was longer then the advertised 24 hours (3 days in my case). It's been several years and no problems to date. Again as John has said it's expensive, but if it works, it's worth it.

At the end of my 1200mile trip home my trans started acting up. By this, the cruse set to 63mph I started to lose speed on a slight grade to the point I had to take the control off and manually downshift the trans according to the speed I was at that time. 30mph-3rd gear, 40-4th gear and so on...

I had my '05 Itaska with Cat 350 overheat a few years ago in the mountains out west and it turned out the radiator was plugged on the back side from the blowby hose on the engine. Steamed cleaned from the back side and put an extension from the blowby hose to the back of the motorhome and...

I'm having a problem finding the Air Filters part numbers for my Cat 350 on 2005 Itaska 39K. It's probably my ignorance and older age starting to show.

05 Itaska Meridian, same as John, dash dimmer control. Turn all the way up for light and a bit down to shut the light off.

I had this problem of fogged glass on the drivers side about 5 years ago that I had repaired at Lazy Days in Tampa, FL. With that there was some etching in the glass that could not be removed. The glass was reinstalled at he tune of $500.00 and was happy with it until now. It's starting to fog...

Thanks John, I do as well. I know you guys miss the travel life and the revelations it brings. At this point of my travels I'm trying to put together a trip to Alaska next year. It's quite a project so far, fearing not to forget anything and to anticipate others. Will keep everyone posted for sure.

Whatever you do, don't use anything but plastic to replace. You have aluminum inters and anything but plastic will cause a reaction and ruin your tank.

Update: Springs installed with no effort at all. Thanks to "Ray-IN" for the video, it worked great. only altered by using clothespins instead of shims. Thanks to everyone for the help. And John, your right and they work great now. Up and down a half a dozen times with no problems. Thanks again.

My left rear jack seems to have a habit of leaving me with about 1 1/2" to fully retract. Finally got a set of new springs to install and wanted to know of a easy way to install, if there is such a thing. Any info on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
