    Reasonable dyi roof coating

Thank you good to hear, so many products to research.

    Reasonable dyi roof coating

I have a 2002 keystone with a rubber roof. I use some dicor twice a year as the guy I bought it from had for years to fill tiny cracks. I would like to do a full recoating with something like everbond RV roof coating to squeeze out a few more years. Is it a horrible thing to do on an aging...

    Winter battery charging

Will it hurt to just keep the tt plugged into shore power for the winter? I have a couple golf cart batteries that would be a real chore to bring inside. Northern Wisconsin so lows common below 0 and down to -30 possible.

    Replacing floor insulation.

Had some floor water damage and need to replace some insulation under the floorboard. Any kind or type better than any other? It has yellow fiberglass now.

    Floor replacement

Well not a good gambler. I bought a gallon so I thought I'd check but why not use it. I think I'd like a trap door to check occasionally. It was a small amount of water over a long time before we noticed the softness.

Are there better range hood fans?

So it works fine on 12v? I think I'll try one. It says it's also a variable speed.

In hindsight, what would you have done differently with that first RV

I still have my used 2002 hybrid. I love it and have had issues. The worst believe it or not is the cabinet handles are perfect for my finger to slide in and get stuck and almost ripped off. Horrible hardware but easy fix

    Floor replacement

Floor had a ongoing slow water issue we found by the soft rotting floorboard. Some water had was being held in by the membrane underneath causing part of the floorboard and 2 x 2 supports underneath to start rotting. This was due to an unsealed bathtub edge against the vanity that allowed...

    Power rv with solar generators

Thanks exactly the confirmation I was wondering about. More of a curious thought if it would be ok but realizing it's a waste of power. The new battery will be replacing the old some day but it keeps on plugging along. Probably swap out at the end of this season. The two 6v excisting leads have...

    Power rv with solar generators

Good advice. I'll be fine with what I have just looking at additional use of my lithium. It does not seem to be a bright idea to invert the juice to ac.

    Power rv with solar generators

That's what I suspected. I'll just power what I need separately if the time comes on a cloudy higher energy use stay.

    Power rv with solar generators

Actually my "generator" is a dyi battery pack. With 200 amp Lifepo4 with a 1500 watt inverter. Wondering if it would hurt plugging into the RV overnight for supplemental power to my house batteries which are lead and I want to keep at or above 50%. This instead of rewiring a switch at battery...

    Power rv with solar generators

If getting low on power with lead house batteries would it be reasonable to run the camper with solar generator. Use the invertor in it to plug into the 30 amp plug. I only use less than 20-30 amps a night. Most of that is a 30 watt TV. Rest is water pump and some lights. Would it try to charge...

    Sharing batteries

I just bought a new 200 amp Lifepo4 to build into a portable self contained box. Including solar charge controller, battery monitor, ect to wheel around while camping this allowing more sun in my often shady campsites. I will continue to boondock with my existing golf cart batteries for some...
