2003 34d Brave Battery hold down rods

I have a 2003 Brave with the batteries under the step. They are secured with long thread bolts that cave clips to keep them from dropping when the battery hold down brackets are loose. Does anyone know of a replacement bolt for this system?

Dash 12VDC sockets died on way home - Fuse OK and they work fine on Shore Power

OK Now I have an interesting problem. On the way home from camping, I lost power to my Cigarette Lighter 12VDC power outputs (original socket and extra socket I installed) on the dash today. Fuse is OK and they work fine when plugged into Shore Power. Must be a relay, so tomorrow I guess I need...

2003 Headlight upgrade to H4 style headlights

lol yea I tried that too..lol I am told that taking a voltage reading at the headlights will give you some insight into whether or not you need to wire a relay off the battery. At the Daniel Stern site he posted this chart For example, let's consider a 9006 low beam bulb rated 1000 lumens at...

2003 Headlight upgrade to H4 style headlights

So I have a 2003 Brave (Workhorse) and quite frankly, the stock headlights suck. My Brave currently has PN:6053 sealed beam HI/LOW headlights. There are kits to upgrade to H4 style housings that have removable H4 style bulbs. These kits offer a (claimed) 50% improvement in brightness and beam...

2003 Winnebago Brave (34D) Dash Radio upgrade

The smaller speakers are for the existing TV sound system. They are very cheap speakers. As long as your new TV has an amplified Audio out you can use them. I added a LG surround sound Blu-Ray Player with wireless rear speakers that works and sounds awesome.  By adding this system I did not need...

2003 Winnebago Brave (34D) Dash Radio upgrade

Error on second reply... Old speakers were 5 1/4" speakers, NOT 6.5". The new replacements were 6.5". New Note: 6.5" speakers will not fit in the rear Left cabinet. The existing holes are for 5 1/4" and clearances of internal bracing restrict system to 5 1/4". That is all

2003 Winnebago Brave (34D) Dash Radio upgrade

Hi Bob!! Well it is a chore to say the least.  Here are the tools that made it do-able: 1.) I used my Cell phone with the camera reversed to scope out the screw locations and determine the alignment for the new speakers. 2.) a small LED Flashlight 3.) I have a small power screw driver that has...

2003 Winnebago Brave (34D) Dash Radio upgrade

Phase 4 Amplifier is in and making awesome sounds. Very impressed so far. Rear speakers are not up to the task, so now Phase 4 begins. New Alpine 5 1/2" (SPS-510) speakers for the rear Left/Right channels. Removing the old speakers was a chore due to the confined space and awkward access...

2003 Winnebago Brave (34D) Dash Radio upgrade

Phase 3 Adding a new Alpine Amp to the New Dash Radio system. You probably won't be able to read the detail parts of the drawing, but here is the plan. Ordered a new MOLEX 12-pin connector that will mate with the existing 12-pin Chassis Plug. Radio works with the first phase of the install. I am...
