    Water Pump Replacment time

Thank you all, after reading about the PSI on some some reviews it had me a bit nervous.  I assumed I'd be ok but figured better safe then sorry. I did download the wiring diagrams so I'll check that out too. Spring Creek - thanks for the advice on getting the specs. Gary - It's just a gut...

    Water Pump Replacment time

I have a 2007 Winnebago Sightseer 35J, the pump is acting like it's getting close to giving up the ghost.  So I've been trying to do some reading and deciding what to replace it with. The stock one is okay, but not really all that quiet, and since it's under the bed I'd like to consider getting...

What is that sealer Winne uses on the roof?

It doesn't take much just to do the corner caps. I bought the 10 oz Cartridge for the gun, way more then I needed.  The 1 oz. tube should be enough.  But pricing wise the cartridge isn't that much more considering how much you get.  Last time we had friends with another Sightseer so I capped it...

What is that sealer Winne uses on the roof?

Thought I'd give a follow up from 2009.  I brought the RV home to exercise the engine and generator and do a small project.  Upon inspecting the outside I found I will need to reseal the roof again. Still a good seal on the roof cap just not adhering to the sidewalls. But its way to cold right...

New Winnebago Insurance Program - How Does it Stack Up?

Interesting, figured they were not doing this on their own so did some digging. I see they are working with Farm and City Insurance Services (FCIS). http://www.marketwired.com/press-release/winnebago-launches-winnebago-rv-insurance-nyse-wgo-1984096.htm

What is that sealer Winne uses on the roof?

Caro my post goes back to 2009 when I used the 3M 5200 to caulk my roof.  It's been on since and solid.  No cracks or anything.  We took a trip over Christmas break and upon return I found the seal had broke on the driver side. I temp patched with small tube of silicone and I'll remove and...

Looking for a UTV for our family

We were an ATVing family for about 8 years with our kids.  By the the time they were in high school we were slowing down on our trips. But it was a great time and got them out doors.  We each had our own ATV, though sometimes our youngest rode with mom since he got exhausted on longer rides. ...

    Bed rails for bunks?

One thing we found is with a cloth sleeping bag they don't come off the bunks easily so we never had to put rails up.

    2007 Winnebago 35J - new here

Congrats, we've had our 2007 35J since late 2006 and love it.  We've had no major issues with our rig at all.  Make sure you inspect the seams/seals at the front and rear, due to the nature of how Winnebago does their roofs the sealant cracks and needs to be redone. We made it about 5 years on...

Let's see pictures of your 4x4!

Thanks for the air pressure advice, I'll keep that in mind for future outings.  Need a better compressor, the one in the motorhome is to far once I come off the trails and the one for the ATVs is to slow.  Shopping time.

Let's see pictures of your 4x4!

Thanks Sarge, I had them down to about 25, was apprehensive about going lower but probably should have.  Had my fun on the dunes with our ATVs, still wish I'd made it that trip.

Let's see pictures of your 4x4!

Taking our 1st venture in the Wrangler ownership, we've had a Liberty which I love to hate (due to the uncomfortable seats).  I wanted to get out of my F150 and spotted a nice 2011 JKU Sahara with lower miles and the features I've become accustom to on my F150.  I don't plan on serious rock...

Oh Snap! Driver seat swivel release lever

Update: Finally got warm enough to get some projects going.  Dealer ordered the part, of course have to order the cable & the lever - $21.  Not bad, of course couldn't find anything on just the lever from another vendor.  Oh well not complaining.  I did try to glue the old lever, super glue...

    Looking at a Storm 33Q

With a good Energy Management System you may not need 50amp service for two A/Cs.  At least in our Sightseer we have the dual A/C, 30amp plug in service and a 50amp generator. We've camped in 110 degree weather with our 30amp service and the EMS managed to balance the load between the two AC's ...

    Looking at a Storm 33Q

All I can say is make sure you look at the other comparable modes so you can look and compare fit and finish compared to the price point.  Have you looked at the Thor ACE and Winnebago Vista line up as well? I think they are comparable in the price point area. We went from a 39' Raptor Toy...
