    Norcold question...

Well, I thought that maybe the bit of an angle I had the RV parked on might have something to do with it, and after moving the RV further down the driveway to where it's level, the fridge is now working. So hopefully that's it. What's the reason for that? Thanks, Zach

    Norcold question...

thanks guys for the replies. It's amazing how expensive fridge stuff is!! The propane tank is not completely empty and when I just switched it over to propane I could hear the system working...though I didn't want to run it for long due to the limited gas left. I will get it filled on Friday and...

    Norcold question...

Hi All, I have a Norcold fridge in my 1989 Class C and it's always worked great. I have kept it running over the last month between RV trips by plugging into my house. Getting ready for a trip this upcoming weekend and I realized the fridge was not working, though the Automatic Light at the top...

    Radiator fluid?

Hi guys, Thanks for the replies. It was definitely green antifreeze. Would the overflow tank be full from the highway driving maybe and that was just the excess dripping out? Thanks, Zach

    Radiator fluid?

Hi Everyone, Took a nice jaunt down to Newport, RI this weekend, that is a beautiful area and well worth a visit. On my way home I stopped for gas after driving for about 40 minutes on the highway, I noticed that I had some antifreeze dripping out of the radiator of my Ford 460. I was greatly...

    RV insurance?

As a Mass. resident I think our insurance policies are a lot different than the rest of the country but it seems my RV is insured just like a normal car vs. one that's in my driveway all the time. Can anyone recommend a cheaper insurance option for me? thanks, Zach

    Water heater time...

Hi Guys, I wound up using a plumbing glue that was recommended to me at Home Depot...after several attempts my repair seems to be holding. I contacted Damon about who made their grey water tanks way back when and was told the company was out of business so I'd have to get a custom tank...

What's the forum say about Eternabond?

Hi Shayne, What roof product did you use? Thanks, Zach

What's the forum say about Eternabond?

Hi All, My roof's pretty ugly on my 89 class c..it's discolored and pealing in spots. There have been several minor leaks which I fixed by caulking the roof seams. Would it make sense for me to paint on a new rubber roof that I could do myself and then eternabond all the seams? That, I figure, I...

    Water heater time...

Hi Ned, I think you're right, that crack was there before, but I had never seen anything dripping before so maybe just a bit of ice formed in there. I'm thinking along the lines of JB Weld ..what do you think? Zach

    Water heater time...

Well looks like I did de-winterize too soon, just found a crack in the bottom of the grey water tank...maybe it was there before, but I'm thinking it was from the cold last night. Damn.

    Water heater time...

One more thing...do you guys keep your water heaters on all the time or do you just switch them on prior to needing hot water? Not sure how I feel about that flame going all the time.

    Water heater time...

The final piece of the puzzle has fallen into place and I got the water heater going no problem. I have a direct ignition type and it kept referring to a remote switch for the pilot, turns out that was the one switch I had not been able to identify since getting the RV, once I flipped that on it...

    Water heater time...

Well, I hate to admit this, but I actually have all the manuals...that's how much of a newbie I am!! The ho****er heater is my last major unknown!! I keep waiting for it to magically kick on but due to our horrible weather this week and snow last night I haven't been able to fiddle with...
