How many Satellite internet dishes can you spot in this photo? This is only the first row at the Moab rally and doesn't include the dish on the roof I took this photo from.

I wish I'd had my tape recorder switched on to record Ron Ruward leading the singing of Happy birthday for birthday boy Terry at happy hour this evening.

You missed probably the one and only chance at the Tom.   It was worth the effort since I really enjoyed your solo of the second verse.

I had nominated Tom Jones fo the Made My Day award and Al Griefer for the Helping Hand award passed out at tonite's happy hour. Marsha Lassen had a lock, sweeping the awards ;D I purchased Tom's extra Silver Leaf VMSpc and he spent a couple of hours installing it. And Al was there with the helping hand to make sure the wiring was right and  do the splices. Sorry no runner up awards were given for tonite.

Nice shot Tom, in fact my sincere thanks to all the photo contributors. It's getting to be a lot like being there.
Just a wondering while looking at that shot Tom, there seems to be a spread of vehicle makes and types. Out of the Framily attending the Rally, would you be able to tell me the spread of vehicle choices? Are they all A's, any 5'ers, B's etc.

I don't know the exact counts, but most are class A, one class C, one 5th wheel and one travel trailer.

How about some images taken on the Jet Boat ride on the Colorado River.

We went into the Fiery Furnace at Arches yesterday led by Jerry and Ardra Fitzgerald.  Jerry has a handheld GPS that helps guide us.  It also accumulates the distance we hike and the total uphill climbing.  Turned out the hike was 2.6 miles and a climb around 700 feet.  It was the pre-curser to todays hike, which I will tell you about in another message.

Here's a few more photos from Fiery Furnace.  For those of you who have never been there, it is a rock fin area that is a maze.  Many of the fins rise more than 100 feet over you.  The area includes sand washes and large bolders, that you have to scramble through.

Today we hiked out to the Devil's Garden, visiting Landscape Arch, Partition Arch, Wall Arch, Double O Arch and Navajo Arch.  We walked 6.2 miles and climbed more than 1300 feet.  Pretty good workout for just about anyone.  Here are some of the photos.
