30A VS 50A service hookup

If your motorhome has a 30A cable is it safe to hookup 50A service using an adapter.

If you try to exceed 30 amps, the breaker in the camper will trip. The 50 amp breaker will protect the cord from a short circuit between the camper and the pole. I think you're good to go.
