50 amp service - keep tripping pedestal circuit breaker

50 amps total for 50 amp shore power? Yikes, he is not knowledgeable about RV electrics (I'm trying to be nice here.  ;))

By the way, the later model Winnebago diesel pushers have transfer switches that are also surge suppressors and will cut out for low/high shore power. I need to ask my friend at Winnebago what models and model years this started. Hopefully your RV "tech" replaced your transfer switch with the exact replacement.
 
Yes John mine has that.  I had him replace it with the same model that was bad.  The Surge guard needs to be checked often and the connections tightened or you can get arching.

Like wearing a belt and suspenders I added a surge protector on the plug end so I now have both.
