I have a 2002 Monaco Windsor (350 Diesel)
My question is on my two return air vents.
The return has a mahogany casing around the return, with hinges on one side, but for the life of me I cannot find a way to open the casing to get to the filters.
Any help from you experts would be appreciated.

Monaco did some goofy things with cabinets, hinges and latches...

A grill on our 2003 Monaco had hinges on both sides, and I used to have to unscrew the hinges from one side to open it. I subsequently put a closet latch on one side, and left some of the screws out of the hinges on that side, so they're only there for show and hide the old screw holes. Just a couple of weeks ago I got around to adding a knob on that side to make it easier to open.

Are you able to unscrew the hinges you have on one side?

Right above our grill is a 'dummy drawer', complete with drawer knob. But it's just a drawer front with a drawer latch on both sides. If I pull on the knob, the drawer front pops out. Could it be that your grill has one (or two) drawer latches on one or both sides?
