About the Birds and the Bees

Today, I went to:



But I saw more Birds and Bees than butterflies.

It costs ten bucks to get in the NBC. Twice the price of the park next to me. They also put a band on our wrists to show we paid.:


While not nearly as large as the Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley Park, it has a lot more to see in less area and is still a good mile with countless shady trails. Many signs in the park such as:



You can drive on some of the roads in the park, but that is not a good way to see the place. Many trails in the shady parts which were nice on a hot day like today here:

And they recently had several reports of large rattlesnakes on the trail.

So the Butterfly park is about a lot more than the butterflies. But there are a few of those flying around also:
