If I recall correctly, these weren't overly impressive years ago when they came out. Hard to take a good hot shower on a really cold day. But I would imagine they've improved. The toy hauler we're looking at has a Truma On-Demand water heater. Does anyone have any experience with them? If so...
Hard to say, but probably not. You already have water and 120v electric power to the heater, so the basics are there.
What would you do with the present water heater? If you remove it, there is a big hole in the sidewall. THAT would be a major remodeling job unless you just block up the hole and leave the outer door in place. If you leave the entire heater in place, then your challenge is to find a place for the second "instant" heater.
