Do air conditioner covers offer any advantages when using an RV in winter weather. I understand they offer protection for the a/c unit, but do they help any with keeping heat in the RV?

Given the design and material of the covers I would say they offer little to no insulation against cold in the winter. I suppose you could insulate the cover with styrofoam or batt insulation. Couldn?t hurt.

No.  There is no outside air path through the a/c unit, so it doesn't keep anything out.

Didn't think there was, but didn't know if it would help keep some heat from migrating through. We could probably buy the extra btu's for what two covers cost
