ALLISON TRANSMISSION ISSUES

I HAVE A TRUCK WITH THE AT545 TRANSMISSION SITTING HERE AND IT WONT TAKE A GEAR.  THE OWNER DROPPED IT OFF YESTERDAY AND WHEN I GOT IN IT TO MOVE IT NOTHING HAPPENS, NO CODES, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, I CHECKED RELAYS, WIRES, CONNECTIONS, EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD, ANY SUGGESTIONS????

I doubt hardly anyone here works on the AT545, unless they have a school bus conversion. A call to the owner to see if it has anything quirky to get it going may be in order, unless that's what the truck is in there for. I'm sure there's probably an Allison forum out there that may be useful to you.

Just talked to a friend who is an Allison tech.  3 things to check: low on fluid, linkage disconnected, first gear clutch gone.  There is a port on the left side of the tranny where you can check pump pressure.
