Just wondered if anyone has any experience with this new brand of camper. A dealer in my area is picking them up and says the manufacturer has about eliminated all the wood in the camper using mostly aluminum and composites. He says the worst problem with traditional campers with slideouts is water infiltration over time rotting the laminate covered luan board on the walls. This builder is supposedly trying to avoid this. He claims even the 33 ft 5th wheel weighs in at less than 10000lbs. Anyone have any experience with these or seen them at a show?

That name was a Holiday Rambler brand in the 70's and 80's.  Wonder who bought it or is licensing the name????

Alumalite was manufactured by western wilderness in Yakima washington. I have a 86 version and there is still lots of wood in that one.
Alumascape is a Holiday Rambler, and our 2001 model is one.
