Backup Camera

The view from my Backup Camera is reversed, like the image from a mirror.  Is this normal????

My MH is an 07 Monaco Diplomat.  All input will be appreciated.

Your message piqued my curiosity, so I just checked our 2003 Monaco Camelot. It's the same way yours is. Makes sense when I think about it, because it shows me what I'd see if I was looking at a rear view mirror.

Our monitor has a button on it to switch from normal video to mirror image.  I like mirror image because it's like looking in the rearview mirror.

Backing up could be quite hectic should it be in the other mode.  When looking in mirror to back up it would now be  the same.

Mine is flipped, too.  I never even thought about it.  Just seemed natural.

Ours is backwards also, which makes it a pain in the neck when someone is trying to guide you in. Our Honda Odyssey, is the normal way, much easier.

Mine is reversed, like a mirror. I ordered it that way.  It works just like the mirror in my car, except it is wide angled.  I wanted it so I could back up without the fear of running into somebody or something.
