I'm looking for some detailed info on utilizing the upfitter switches and so far am coming up empty. Anyone have a favorite Ford truck forum that might have the answers?

I have a diesel so I wired one switch for fast idle.
Another switch is for an air compressor.

Thanks. Maybe you know the answer. I found the four capped off wires, but the wire size seems way too small to be of much use. These are relayed circuits of up to 30A if I recall, but I'd guess wire size at 16-18. I'd probably use 10-12 for the lights I'm considering. What am I missing?

They also have a towing specific thread https://www.f150forum.com/f82/

On pages 112 & 113 of your owners manual there is information about the amps for each switch.  I believe that the wire size is different for each rating.  The very thin insulation will make the wires appear thin.

I did see that. If I recall two of them were rated at 30A. The OD of the wires I found, including insulation, I wouldn't think couldn't carry 10A let alone 30. I'll have another look
