Canceling in Key West?? Anyone??

My wife and I will be in FLA at Orioles Dreamweek and she had hoped to go to Key West afterwards.  She just lost her Dad and we've been busy handling his affairs so we're just getting around to finding somewhere to camp........as i feared, most everything is booked.  Anyone out there have any secrets to finding a place or planing to cancel your own trip???

When are you planning to go? Checking out the camp grounds in the Everglades and driving into the keys by car may be an option for you.

We were looking specifically at the Key West area.  Considering staying further up and just rented a car to drive down for a day or so.

Keep checking different campgrounds.  We went down two winters ago and didn't plan far enough ahead.  We got a water front spot when someone cancelled. Try calling the offices because online may not include everything or be current.  We stayed at Fiesta Key about 1/2 way out.
