Hello everyone
Our 2001 rv had some rough years and so does the ceiling look.
Lots of stains and this odd whitish carpet is not really sticking well anymore.
What would be a good and proven way to redo ceiling?
Furring strips with tonge and groove panels? Or anything else that is diy possible?
Anyone did such thing before?

RV life sponsors multiple forums, one including the "Skoolie" forum, which is a forum dedicated for folks with School Bus Conversions to RV's. Most everything there is DIY.

Here's a link (Google search), from the web site that resulted in a few hits dealing with bus ceilings. Maybe you can get some tips from some of these very creative guys!

A man on irv2.com completely removed and replaced his old carpeted ceiling in their MH, and described how. The "carpeting" is glued to 1/8" luan board, if the glue comes loose as his did, there is no practical alternative.

I remember years ago reading about some older members of escapees using a Bissel Little Green Machine to clean their ceiling carpeting; or has my memory failed me_again?
