I have a dial manometer and want to make sure I am correctly using it. I take the middle burner off stove top and hook it up there. open it and it goes to 11 in. wc. I then turn off lp tanks and let it set about 15 min ? sound about right? thanks for double checking me

That would be right. Just make sure all the other uses of LP are deactivated.

Now just watch for it to drop. If it drops, check the temporary connections first and look for leaks... If it does not drop, you're good!

Well the 11 indicates the regulator is working as designed.

The 7 indicates there is a slow leak somewhere... MOST LIKELY is where you connected the meter (if this is the case all is good)

Actually, Middle burner, Right, left, Front, Rear, Somewhere else.. Don't matter.

Make sure your stove doesn't have it's own secondary regulator that will mask system pressure being too high.
