Did ya ever plan a trip and in the end it sucked?

Speaking specifically about trips. Nope, never had a bad one. Well, wait_there was that pill in the 60's/ never mind.
Seriously, nope never had a bad one; I suppose that's because we don't plan beyond tomorrow's destination. Instead we decide how long we'll be away from our stix N brix and a general direction of travel.
We've experienced mechanical breakdowns and had to wait out weather, but those are normal RVing stuff.

To the contrary. EVERY trip we've ever taken has been an extraordinary, spectacular success with everything we experienced far exceeding our wildest most positive, thrilling expectations.

How old were the tires?

about 3 years. They had about 2500 miles or so on 'em. Yes, they were some China bombs, and it was pretty weird how they were fine for so long, then on one drive, 3 of them blew. I did check the air, as I always do before I leave for a trip. They were fine.
