The gasket between the base and bowl of our Dometic Traveler Lite 210 started leaking.  I replaced the gasket this weekend (new version with two pieces) but I cannot get the new one to seal completely.  Fill the bowl up with water (or other stuff, fun...) and you can see the drip from around the ring.  Today I re-installed everything, but no luck.

Any suggestions?

I'm curious if the band clamp can wear out?  Only idea I got.

I called Dometic, and the only suggestion they made was to make sure the clamp wasn't binding in the back.

The representative I spoke with as much as admitted that the new style gasket has "backfired" on them.

Am I going to have to replace a freaking toilet over a bad gasket design?
