here's the bad...it's in California...and on the wrong side of the river... everything is on the AZ side....we use to stay there , but now stay at pirates den on the az side...

Thanks, what did you think of the Resort?

it was ok, great if you have kids, and they have a boat ramp..pirates was better because of the bar/restaurant on the water... and close to stores and fuel... we had a membership there,... but only went a couple times..

Thanks for the info, I guess no one else on this site has ever been there. Must not be a very popular spot.

There are thousands of RV parks and campgrounds in the US and only a few hundred people visit this site on a daily basis so don't judge popularity from this limited information. Being in California is a huge plus in my book.

Every time we visited the parker area we would get fliers on our windshield for a free stay at Emerald Cove, we don't want to join a membership park so just drove by on our way to Riverland RV Resort without stopping.  We have stayed at Riverland many times and enjoyed it.  Have not been back to the Parker area since 2012.  Dick nvrver

I have stayed at Emerald Cove, yes member park, you can get 3 free nights is you listen to the pitch on the tour.  I was there as a vendor, not as a guest.  It was OK, has a nice pool with bar inside the pool.  There was food available as I remember, and yes in CA.  Not much around on that road, if you go north you get to the dam, but can't drive over in an RV, the bridge just south takes you into Parker AZ with a lot of services.  The river is beautiful, I think you could also rent boats.

The big caution is you need to sit for a sales pitch.

If you like it, but not their price, you can buy on the resale market, but if you sit through one, you have to wait 3 years to buy on resale, and like most if not all. membership deals, there are annyual fees and rules of use.

Lou, thanks for the information and the link to the reviews. We are going to pass and take a sure thing just made reservations at the Riverside Casino RV park. We have stayed there many times and like it. Good thing I made the reservations today they are almost full I got the last pull thru 50 amp site.
