We have a 2017 Forest River FR3.  I'v noticed that the steps are crooked, and decided to take a look to find out the issue.  It appears that the bracket/welded part is failing and trying to figure out the best way to fix.  I'm assuming the entire sliding step assembly will need to come out, but looking for recommendations before I go that route.  Any recommendations?

Looks like you will have to remove the steps,, straighten the area thats torn,, then re-enforce that corner with a welded angle bracket.>>>Dan

Take it to a metal fabrication shop. They may be able to remove the bolt, straighten out the metal then weld it in place. Check the opposite side at the same time.
