First road trip ideas

We live near Nashville Tn. Looking for some places within two hour for our first trip. A weekend trip. Any ideas would be great

Have you been to Mammoth Cave National Park? If you can get by without hookups, it would be a good shakedown location.

If hookups are needed, the Dog Creek, Nolin River Lake COE at Cub Run KY is just 4 miles away and has water & elec with a dump station and it is rated highly as the premier COE in Central KY. http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Kentucky/Cub_Run.html

I drove to Mammoth Caves several times while in college and always wanted to camp there.
