Living that close and given the need for periodic trips back home, I'd be inclined to drive in daily. You can still socialize with other attendees, much of which will happen at seminars and the organized social events, dinners etc. You can also still visit with folks at their coach. OTOH if you need some work done on your coach, either by the manufacturer or one of the industry vendors, this is a great opportunity; In addition to teams of techs, they'll have lots of spare parts on hand.
Another thought, if you partake of libations, it might be best to fall into the coach at night rather than drive. Having your RV at the Fariplex also gives you a base should you not wish to to attend functions and have large gaps in your daily schedule.
