Funny marriage announcements

I just came across two 1819 marriage announcements from the Westmoreland Co. (Penna.) Weekly Newspapers.  They're my contribution to your laugh of the day.

"May 22, married in Colchester Conn. Mark Brown to Rose Waters after courtship of 35 years, having had 15 children, it was high time for the old couple to get married."

"May 29, married New Milford Conn. after 25 hours knowing each other Amos March age 14 to Ann Sherwood age 35."

They were in one of my family genealogy newsletters.  Guess someone came across them while doing research.
