Furnace runs till out of propane

repairs and issues solved. Thermostat and propane.

Did you replace the thermostat and bought some propane? Did you have the leaking valve replaced?

Off to fill propane today. Repair guy said didn’t need to replace thermostat. We’ll see if he’s right come cool camping weather.

Don’t mean to keep it secret. My repair guy said he fixed all and did explain to me the basics of what he had done. Part of issue was slider on the thermostat which he fixed.

Off to fill propane today.

If I were you, I would turn off the valve on the propane tank and then light the stove top and see if it will run out of propane. If the valve has been open you should be able to light the burner but it should run out of fuel and go out. If it keeps burning for 15 minutes or half an hour, then that valve is leaking.
