Gas prices are dropping!

Northern California being so far from the rest of the country, (ha ha) shows prices of about $3.96 at the lowest stations. Others are still above $4. Got to get in the rig and head east soon.

Local station near me this morning read $3.89......both gas and diesel were the same price.

Bought Diesel in Homestead, FL 3.61, so far the lowest we have seen so far to Tx is 3.69.

Just noticed yesterday that gas was $3.60 and diesel $3.48 at a local Valero.  That's the best I've seen for a loooong time..!

And we let them get away with it.

It's really amazing that there's enough to go around... millions upon millions of gallons every day, up in smoke but we never run out.  Simply amazing.  I hope they "continue to get away with it"...  try to imagine what it would be like without it.

Diesel prices on the Kansas turnpike this week were $3.44.  Off the turnpike the price was $3.70-3.80.  I filled up at the last service plaza and made it all the way to Texas where prices were $3.66 at a Shell truck stop just north of Austin.
