I have been poring over this great forum but wanted to wait until I actually made the purchase of my first RV before officially joining (guess I just felt I had to include my rig info in the auto signature

As I approach my 60th year on the planet next year I have been planning on celebrating 2018 with the freedom of an RV. While I will still maintain my residence here in PA, there is just something so compelling about all I have explored in all the sites and podcasts devoted to this culture, this community.
Along with purchasing my used Crossroads Z-1 last week, now I have to trade in my hybrid SUV for a truck. My kids and family laugh as they never thought they would hear the words "my rig" and "my truck" ever come out of me in conversation....
So I thank you for making up this invaluable forum, and I will do my best to avoid asking newbie questions that have already been answered.
