Hi all,
Our used Coach House motorhome has heat strips. What are they used for and when?  Thanks in advance.

You can use this to help knock the chill off your motorhome when your out on a cool time of the year.

What would be the benefit of using heat strips instead of the heater?  What powers heat strips, AC, propane or both?  Any other info you would like to add?  Thank you

The heat strips are 120v electric and effectively convert your roof a/c to an electric heater. Saves on propane if you have campground electric available, and makes it unnecessary to carry around an electric space heater. As to whether that is a valuable feature vs using the propane furnace or a portable heater, I will leave you to decide.
