I,m an owner of a 1966 Chevrolet Blubird Bus Apache Series. I,m all over the net looking for places like this to restore my bus properly and convert into a motorhome. However I find it extremly rare to find information related to this bus anywhere on the net. Great site ! :)

You might not find too much on your specific bus.  From what I can see, it is a Blue Bird body built onto a Chevy school bus chassis.  Doubtful it is the original drive train (which is good) but obviously don't know.  There is a forum topic here about bus conversions that has a wealth of information on converting school buses, OTR buses, etc. including personal tales of how the conversion progressed (or didn't progress).

Google "Bus Conversion" and you will find a number of sites devoted to conversion of buses, other commercial vehicles (including the old Divco Milk Truck) into fairly comfortable camping, or full-time living quarters.

When I was much younger I wanted to do exactly what you are doing - convert a bus into a motorhome or camper, but life (marriage, jobs, kids, divorce, etc.) got in the way.

Good luck!
