You'll be glad to know, then, that I am making all of the stupid mistakes for you up front (wife and I are new) so that no one else has to.
Lessons learned the hard way so far:
1. Inflate RV (in our case, travel trailer) tires to proper level or you MAY damage your tires but it'll definitely feel like you're towing through mud (if you have a 1/2 ton tow vehicle)
2. House battery wire colors may not be what you think...took me 4 blown fuses (and the help of this site) to figure out that white on our TT is ground. Kept thinking.. what could possibly be drawing more than 30 amps???
3. To be determined...
