First post... About to start looking for class A DP (used) Any lemons to avoid, advice on running gear chassis, engine's and or coach's what to look for. Pros, con's etc. Just need a little help to make a good choice. Thanks and GBY. ;)

Hi & welcome.  Running gear is not an important decision factor in a DP - all the available chassis are at least very good and the differences are small. The most important factor is determining the layout (floor plan and size) that meets your needs and the condition of the coach that has it.  Condition and state of maintenance or the key things to look for.

That said, the mid-higher end brands/models offer the best value in a used DP.  The prices depreciate so much that all the higher-end features become relatively cheap in a used coach. You can use the original MSRP for a guide about mid-high end positioning (you can find that in the online NADA RV guide).

Howdy and welcome William52!

Is this your first RV?  If not, we won't bore you with all the typical stuff that needs considered (tire age, battery condition, etc.).
