I use Acronis True Image and have had no issues. My routine is to partition my hard drive into at least two partitions. The first is a rather small partition that I install Windows and programs on. The rest I use for documents, photos, and other data. Once I have my computer set up, I make an image of the C: partition to a USB drive using Acronis. The other stuff I just copy to the USB drive. I have upgraded the hard drive in my notebook a few times and use Arconis to restore the latest image from the USB drive. This saves hours of work by not having to do a full install of everything. So far it has always worked.
