As far as I know, that is correct.

I realize that it is my responsibility to not over load.

That's why everybody should weigh their fully loaded coach (or tag-a-long, fiver...)  3500 pounds of CCC (you will have to convert to OCC) is quite adequate for a full-timer and way plenty for the weekender or vacation use.
