Ty and sorry. Somehow private surfing or some such stuff got turned on my iPad again. Fat fingers probably. Anyway it doesn’t let me stay logged in. Think I got that fixed

No worries. I also have fat fingers (and oily skin) that prevents me from working on a tablet or phone; Have to use a keyboard.

If a new account is created, used a few times, but they never return for years after, do the accounts get deleted?

I'm not aware of any active program to remove accounts. In some cases we're able to combine the posts from two accounts.
