I don't know the details about the magnets, but... I tried all the resolutions I found on line. I also called the tech support, and they had me try some other ones.
Apparently holding all four arrows down at the same time is a 'reset' of the system. That didn't help.
I got into this mess by turning the ignition key off while the levelers were being lowered. This killed the power to them and apparently confused the system. I tried cycleing each leveler, and retracting them all. The 'retract all' button didn't work. I had to follow the error instructions for each one (P.I.A).
Hope this helps the next fellow in this bind.
