I get my LED's from M4 Products, they are kinda expensive, but very good quality. On my motorhome, I removed the light sockets and metal reflectors and made some flat aluminum plates to replace the domed reflectors. Then I mounted the M4 plate lights. On my new to me travel trailer I will be doing similar changes. The plate lights direct all of the light down and due to the plate and circuity being separated with an air space, they stay cooler and do not easily fail.

Each one of these would be about twice the light of a 1141 lamp. I prefer the natural white, neither yellow nor blue. They make a smaller plate with 24 LEDs on it also. They come with adapters for light sockets, but I just remove the sockets entirely and wire the lights up with splices.

Looks like a good choice.  If one is not enough light, mount them both side by side, and you can turn on one or both.  They may not win decor beauty contests, but they should do what you need.  They seem to be cook white or daylight.  Hope the color is acceptable!

I received these and put them up temporarily. They work awesome. I ended up by putting them side by side. They give off a incredible amount of light. We have it over our dinette table and it's great for working on my DW's craft projects.

I never lose sleep over Rene...If he doesn't know someone to help..He knows Google.

Of course Rene also knows we expect pictures of professional installed light fixtures..

If you want to get stupid bright, you can install some LED pods common for offroad vehicles. You can get flush mount for that recessed light look, surface mount them with a custom fixture, or mount them with a single stud to change the direction.

You would have to add a separate switch if you don't have one though.
