Most photographed spot in the US

In Key West, possibly the mile marker at the end of Hwy 1.  In Santa Monica, the mile marker at the end of Route 66, or maybe the ferris wheel on the pier.  The St. Louis arch.

    Certainly not in Chicago where there is no Mile 1 marker for US66, we searched for a long time trying to find something commemorating the start, but never found a thing.

Not well known is that Route 66 was approved as a result of the work of people in Springfield, Missouri and there is a 66 Museum here and also a yearly celebration.
