My family and I are excited to plan our first RV trip!  We've never been RV-ing (we have a pop-up and camp extensively in Florida), and are planning to do Yellowstone, Teton, Grand Canyon for 2-3 weeks May/June.  We hoped to fly to Bozeman, MT and rent a 1-way RV but CruiseAmerica isn't offering 1-ways at any MT location during our available timeframe.  If all goes well, we may make the upgrade upon our return.  Any advice on how to make this trip happen would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
Darcy

Consider starting in Phoenix or Las Vegas and doing the Grand Canyon first.  You might be able to get a one-way rental that way.  Google the typical "road opening dates" for Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.  Some sections of those parks have snow pack into Apil-May.

Agree with the idea of starting in Phoenix. We love Yellowstone in mid-May, but we generally get at least a dusting of snow. You might as well go to the warmer park (Grand Canyon) first and then head to the colder parks. May is the best time to see all the animals in Yellowstone and it isn't nearly as crowded as it gets after Memorial Day. Either way, you should have a great time. Just remember to bring your coats.

We have been to Yellowstone the last two years. Typically the last roads to open do so around May 22nd. Check the National Park web sites for alerts and closings.
