Hi!

I am working on a conversion kit to change standard gen2 routers to 12V input.

There are some other conversion kits out there, but they are either very expensive, involve PCBs without casing, need the starlink cable to be cut, or require a lot of parts and complex setup. I want to make something that can be installed with regular hand-tools by someone without knowledge about electronics, wiring or setting up routers.

This is what I designed:

Installing it means removing the glass plate of the router and replacing the internal 110V/220VAC power supply with this one. It supports both 12V and 24V battery systems and should have significant power usage improvements (40% less power!)

The first batch of units came in last week, were tested and are on their way to their new owners.
I am getting my next batch of pre-production test units next week, and I am looking for 3 beta users that also want to try it.
If you want to be one of those, send me an email at [email protected]
