Hey,
My name is Boris and I am in the process of buying a Class B van.  This will be my first RV and my first major automotive project, though most of the work will be on the camper part and not the van part.

I am sure to have many questions about what materials I should be using and where I should be sealing.

I am also wondering if there is any chance of asbestos being used to insulate the van.  It is from 76

Boris,

Anything is possible, I suppose, when it comes to what you'll find as far as insulation goes (especially if a previous owner put some additional in there), but I'd think you're more likely to encounter fiberglass than asbestos, even in a '76 model.

If you have doubts and can take pictures of what you find, we should be able to help you identify it.
