My wife Nancy and I recently purchased a 2008, 26 foot motor home with two slide outs. We started RVing by renting one. We enjoyed it so much that on our way home we stopped at a dealer and purchased our first motor home. In the past we have camped with tents, pop-ups and trailers.
My wife is a retired registered nurse. She does volunteering with our church and also with a pro life organization. I started out as an electrical engineer. I soon realized that working as an "employee" was not for me. Occupation two was as an owner of eight Subway restaurants. The income was much better but my traveling was limited. As my children graduated from college I started selling off stores. When my youngest graduated I sold my last two restaurants. Occupation three was as a private investor in real-estate. I am still doing some of that but my emphasis is now on fishing and traveling.
We are looking forward to our first long trip in August.
