Our 60-member uke band has a few breakout groups (small ensembles) who play at local assisted living facilities and other venues. Yesterday, one of the breakout groups 'No Strings Attached', played and sang at the Mothers Day luncheon of our local SIR retired guys club. They played a variety of instruments, including guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, and cajon (percussion).

Chris and I were among the appreciative audience.

Is that you sitting out front in the white fur coat? 😅🤣😂
LOL Rene. They had a name and a story for their mascot.

BTW the guy sitting behind the mascot is an accomplished musician and singer. He's also a great whistler. I couldn't whistle if my life depended on it, and I recruited him to accompany me playing/singing Sukiyaki.
