Water in rv when first turned is normal and immediately starts dying out. We can turn on bathroom sink for  a few seconds and it builds back up pressure for awhile. Any ideas?!  2005 regal prowler  40 ft 4 slides
Kitchen up top . We are young and never owned  Rv. Have multitude of questions and problems ?

Check the basics first. Make sure you have water in your fresh water tank. If you are connected to an external water supply, be sure the external supply is good. if you are using a regulator, bypass it to see if that is the problem. Make sure any internal valve settings are correct.

If you have the time, post additional information and you will surely find plenty of help here.

When using the onboard pump and water tank, the #1 cause of that is blockage at the pump inlet. If using external (city) water, check the things that Henry suggested.  And if you have an inline or onboard water filter, it may be fill of debris.

Another possibility is that the faucets themselves are clogged. Most faucets have a screen at the spout and they get clogged with sand or mineral scale.  Take them all off and clean them, just to be sure.  Usually they screw on/off.

Welcome to the forum.
Talking about screens, you may also have a screen in the fitting where you connect the water hose. Check it. You can buy them at any hardware store. If you don't have a screen, get one.

Saw this on a kitchen faucet (only the one) the rest of the faucets in the RV had pressure but the kitchen NOTHING
IT was one of the "Pull out sprayer/head" type where the regular faucet arm is both faucet and sprayer (just push a button to change)

At the base of the "Wand" part where the hose connects is a check valve.. All limed up.

Welcome to the Forum!

What you describe is typical of a partial blockage.  Water CAN get past the block, but flow is very limited, so it rapidly loses pressure.  It refills when no water is flowing.

Much good advise above.  It would help to know year, make and model of your RV as well as if you are on the internal fresh water tank or on shore water (hose).  We can be much more specific.
